Dark Mart Patch 1.2


Today is the release day for Dark Mart patch 1.2!

Changes:

+ Added a quick skip option for the introduction. The player can now press enter to skip through the splash screen and intro.

+ Fixed a bug with the lightning bolt knock back that was sending enemies in the wrong directions.

+ Implemented the beginning of an audio manager system to handle sound effects in the game.

+ Added a new spell "Electric trap" to the game. It's a tier 2 skill in the wind element tree. After a short charge an electric trap is placed on the ground at a location clicked by the player. If any enemies walk over the trap it will detonate dealing damage to any enemies within the explosion radius. 

+ Updated the shopkeeper portrait thanks to my friend Adan for his artwork!

+ Updated the skill untraining system to account for multiple tier 2 skills now in the game.

+ Fixed a bug where many electric traps were being summoned on mobs of enemies.

+ Fixed a bug where health potions were not being reset after a game over.

+ Fixed a bug where spells were not accounting for trained attack stat.

It's been a fun month of working on the game learning new skills and working to improve at programming with the Godot engine. Played it up until I croaked at level 12. It's nice to see the game growing and improving!

Thank you so much for giving it another try in its updated state! I'm looking forward to making more improvements hopefully soon! Just got to buckle down and keep learning and putting the work in. Really appreciate you playing!
